Motherboards that work with the i5 8400 will be sparse for the next couple months, it just came out.

The next Ryzen APUs will be out in the next couple months as well, there won't be any surprises they will work with current boards. In fact the "next Ryzen"...

Thanks Rogue, but in my couple of months or exploring this industry...

The waiting game truly annoys me...I waited for the i5 8400, now can't get a reasonable motherboard for it....can't run Windows 7 with it....

What surprises will waiting for the Ryzen APU's uncover? What's next , maybe I'll need to wait for DDR14? Maybe a 2nm chipset? ;)

I'm just so confused I have purchase paralysis!

When are i5 8400 motherboards coming out, when is New Ryzen coming out?

Cheers!

I believe there is a way to get Windows 7 working with Ryzen, but I'm not totally familiar. It may not work either.
