Im trying to make a dual monitor setup but im worried.

I have 2 monitor currently one is my main one 1080p 144hz monitor

and the other one is an old 1366x768 60hz monitor

if i try to connect them both to the same PC will the old monitor affect my main monitor?

PS. I use DisplayPort on my Main monitor, and the old one use VGA but i use a HDMI converter to connect it.

Solution
Yeah it works. Windows 10 has an issue though where if you have a 144hz (or other refresh rate not divisible by 60) monitor playing a game and a 60hz monitor playing a video, the game will drop down to 60fps. Setting the refresh to 120hz on your main monitor will fix this though.

I see thank you.

It won't affect the Resolution right?

I used to have the same res monitor as you as my secondary and a 1080p monitor for my main the lower res was 60hz and my main was 75hz freesync and i didnt have any problems. i have now a 144hz and the same 75hz as my secondary now and i dont have any problems. You shouldn't have any problems. win 10 is pretty good with multi monitor.
