Currently I slowly upgraded my rig, but still using my old PSU with 500W certificate 80+ white (Antec VP500P Plus).
It can hold my old i5 3470 + RX 6600 for 2 years and now here i'm using Ryzen 5 5500 with my old Asus GTX 650 Ti DirectCU II for display.

I have plan to buy MSI MAG A550BN 80+ bronze first before upgrading any parts, however the seller that selling Powercolor RX 580 Red Devil is seems limited stock and only him selling in that cheap price.
So today i bought it before it sold out, than upgrading my PSU.

The question is, can 500W run Powercolor RX 580 Red Devil until next month?
Maybe undervolt or underclock or something that can hold until i got 550W or more PSU
I know Antec VP series wasn't reliable enough, i have plan to upgrade it to MSI in the next month, and keep it until i have plan to upgrade newer parts with better PSU as well.

Btw i'm not hard gamer, maybe just casual game like Zelda BOTW or FF VII Remake or FF XV.
If that helps what i'll used for my new GPU

Here's my spec:
Ryzen 5 5500
Asrock B450M HDV R4.0
Apacer Nox 2x8gb 3200mhz
500W Antec VP500P Plus 80+ White

Solution
Just quick update, i received the card.
It works fine on OC bios mode and default preset, but i switched back to Silent mode with power saver preset in Radeon settings.

I got 110-130W for 60-90 fps on Final fantasy 7 remake with 900p high settings

And 130-150W for 75-90fps with 1080p

Both was in silent mode with power saver preset. No random shutdown or reboot occurred.
I think it works well on 500W with OC mode because first benchmark it does and no error occurred.

Just there's annoying coil whine when gpu working at 30% or more, because i placed my pc on my monitor side 😕

Anyway, thanks for everyone who comment. Very...

More than likely yes I have similar watt usage to your build, and I use a 550 so 500 may be pushing it but it will more than likely be ok.
