can a 14tb harddrive be fitted on a ga-z97-ud5h (not as bootmedium)

hi i want to add some storage to my ga z97 ud5h board just as storage, not as bootmedium, was just wodering if the board can handle it, and if not whats the max size?

If your board uses UEFI, then you can use the GUID partition scheme to utilize drives (partitions) greater than 2TB. It may mean converting from legacy BIOS to UEFI if it isn't already.

I can't think of any reason it would. Did you have something specific in mind? Have to tried it?

not yet, but im tempted to just try it. i fitted in several 8tb drives already andstill have 2 ports left.
