Question Trying to change Wifi password, can't login to router, no matter what I try.

The good old fashioned 192.168.1.1 does not work. Tried the default gateway and tried 3-4 browsers

This is at my work place, small work place. I ran ipconfig/all and below is what is says

Have you tried connecting with a wired connection? The address you should be using is 192.168.4.1 according to what you posted.

Your router may be configured to not allow wireless admin access.
I did, but can't recall if I did using that one or the "standard" one. (192.168.1.1)

Is this a privately owned router or one provided by your ISP? Did you set it up, or did someone else?
Not sure tbh. We use Spectrum, the password has been changed by an employee who knows how long ago.

tbh not sure if it is a modem/router in one or not. The modem is Spectrum for sure and not owned by us
 
At this point, sounds like you aren't sure about this router. If it was me, I would factory reset it and then make sure whoever is supposed to administer it knows the setup and account information.

There could be a setting that restricts what device/IP can access the admin account.

How would we factory reset and would that throw off everyone for being online and what not? Also I would be scared I would factory reset it and STILL cant get "into" the router then the solution just became worse than the problem
