Hello, I live stream gameplay and I hear some people use a 2nd gpu as a capture card.

My Gaming PC

GTX 980
FX 8350
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 Mb
16 GB Corsair Vengeance.
Cooler Master: Hyper 212 EVO
XFX Pro 750 Watt.
SSD Boot Drive

PC 2

GTX 760
FX 6300
8GB DDR3

Now, will I need to use 2 different pcs, or can I put the 760 inside the pc with the 980 and use the 760 as a capture card?

I know my card can handle the stream, but I want the full 100% power of my card for gaming,

Any info is greatly appreciated!

to be honest i don't know much about this matter but isn't that such setup use specific card that made specially for capture or recording? anyway for nvidia card you can use shadowplay. but if you want more high quality stuff maybe you'll need third party software for it. but shadowplay have minimal impact on game performance when you do live recording of gameplay.

I am a partner with youtube, not twitch, so I often stream to youtube, which shadowplay does not support. I like shadowplay, but I am forced to use OBS for youtube.

I am a live streamer, but I have always used the pc I game on to stream as well. You say to use a 2nd pc with a capture card. So my other GPU, the GTX 760, or my XFX 8780, which are in 2 different pcs(I have 3 total) can not be used to act as a capture card?

If not, do you recommend any capture cards for pc gaming? Thanks
