Solution
Yes it will work fine.

Your motherboard has 2 memory slots each supporting 2 GBs for a total of 8 GBs. You are trying to install two 2 GB modules 800 MHz.

Just curious. Dont you mean 4 slots?? 4x2=8

Sorry, you are right. Four slots each supporting 2 GBs for a total of 8 GBs.

Sorry to keep bothering you.

So would this ram work for my computer??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/231050760173?lpid=82

The reason i have doubts is that it says "AMD Only"

"New 8GB 4x2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 Non-Ecc 240pin Desktop Memory For AMD Chipset"

I looked at the specs. I don't understand why the seller stated " ... for AMD chipset ...". It is possible that the seller pulled it out of an AMD computer and does not know much about RAM.

It is RAM and has the RAM specs that you need. It is DDR 2, non-ECC and should work fine in your computer.

If you feel comfortable dealing with eBay (and CL) and are confident about getting your money back if it is defective (used RAM) go ahead. Other than that the RAM should work.
