In short I have had bluetooth issues where the broadband/wifi provider for the set of flats I live in is causing bluetooth issues where there is major interference which causes:
Varying delays in receipt of the signals
Cut outs in bluetooth audio etc...

However some of my other devices using bluetooth have no issues at all. Rather than using the bluetooth from my mobo will using a bluetooth adapter that uses a slightly different bluetooth signal frequency (I assume) "fix" the interference issue I have?

Another Bluetooth adapter may or may not make a difference.

What specific Bluetooth devices are being affected?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

If possible borrow a couple of known working (no problems) Bluetooth adapters to do some testing. Disable the on board Bluetooth adapter and then test using the borrowed adapters.

Try using a USB extension cable to raise the Bluetooth adapter(s) up and away from the host computer USB port/case.

Key is to narrow down the possible causes of the interference and delays.

There really isn't a slightly different frequency for bluetooth. They all run on the same 2.4g radio band as wifi.
In addition they use something they call frequency hopping that changes the frequencies while it is actually operating that somehow reduces interference. Too complex for my brain to think about today but from what I can tell all bluetooth is the same other than some variations for certain countries. They all pretty much use the full 2.4g radio band.

What is strange is that you have such a huge issue. I have run many devices on 2.4g wifi that has the transmitters on the same exact card and same antennas and they seem to work ok. There is no attempt by the pc to not for example use bluetooth at the exact same moment it uses wifi. The wifi runs at many times the transmit power of bluetooth so it should constantly be stomping on it.

In the end there is no real easy solution for blocking unwanted signals. You see people talking about covering the wall with metallic screens. Saw a very strange video on linus tech tips talking about blocking 5G and they had a special black paint that worked well but as they mentioned you would have to paint your windows also since the signals come in many places.

I had a similar problem with MB bluetooth transmitter, but more to do with range. So am now using a ZEXMTE long range bluetooth dongle 5.1(the one with the two antennas).
Apparently it improves anti interference ability, 150m range. It requires a seperate driver download which you can find out about online. Once plugged in no problems.

could be the faulty Bluetooth module. Ordering a new one might(or might not) solve the problem.
in my case Bluetooth kept disconnecting after 10mins - 2 hours until I realised I had a faulty one.

in other case. completely deleting the drivers and installing the dricers not that were automatically installed by Microsoft update but direct from manufacturer / updating BIOS to motherboard solved the problem.
