I want to purchase a new graphics card, MSI GeForce GTX 1050 GAMING 2GB DDR5 128-bit, but its memory is not enough for me and since I can't find the same card with more memory, I'll buy the memory separated (sorry for saying memory so many times). I found one, but it says that it's DDR4. Can the card and the memory work together?

Those two have nothing to do with eachother, they will work fine together. DDR5 Graphics card is VRAM and DDR4 ram is DIMM. They have no relation just the way they're named.

That information is false. the memory cannot work together with the gpu to supply the gpu with more memory of its own

What.

apologies, I probably read everything incorrectly

There is no way to increase the gpu memory. What it comes with it will have to live with.
DDR4 you mention is system memory, not the graphic one. While also important for fluent work of your computer, no matter how much you add to the system, gpu memory will stay on those 2GB.

No actually you were right. This guy was asking if he could expand his memory. So I think I was wrong and so was superninja

haha, yeah its about 4am where I am currently so I was currently doubting what I read.

Same, playing Rainbow Six Siege and helping out 😛

Solution
