[SOLVED] Can a faulty CPU prevent mobo from beeping?

When I try to start up my pc I get a no video input and no beep, even when I take out all the ram or graphics card I dont get any beep codes, all the fans do turn on like normal.
Is it possible for a faulty cpu to cause this or is it more likely to be a bad mobo? (Already tried different ram and psu)

cpu amd fx 6300

Yes the pc worked fine for a couple years but recently it wouldnt start up anymore so I’m tryna figure out if its faulty cpu or a mobo

Bummer. Only way then is to test with a known good processor and see what happens, easier than doing the same with the board.

check for swollen caps, it should beep if connected to case speaker or the small drum later ASUS mobos included
