Can a GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7970 run games on a 2560x1440 monitor?

Hi I just made an account and am going to build a PC. I want to know if my build can run games at 2560x1440p resolution while maintaining smooth fps, more specifically which graphics card to use. here is the rig I came up with.

Well that do not specify on the web, but i guess its atx standard so any atx case will work, ill get dinner and after ill do a little research to make sure all the parts you want match, and contact you with a private mssg n.n, cheers.
