Can a GT 730 run GTA San Andreas at 80-100 FPS on low to medium settings?
Not in a PCIe x1 slot, it wouldn't fit. There's a PCIe x16 slot, what's the problem with it ?https://www.amazon.in/Zebronics-Motherboard-Intel-Socket-1Audio/dp/B088F4CHQ9/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1HIL04OQL00QS&keywords=h61+motherboard&qid=1706189085&sprefix=h61+motherboard,aps,255&sr=8-3
This board has a PCIe 1 Slot and I'm trying to use this card FRONTECH GT 740 Graphics Card with 4 GB DDR3 128 Bits PCIe 3.0
I didn't understand. Which slot is it in the motherboard? Not in a PCIe x1 slot, it wouldn't fit. There's a PCIe x16 slot, what's the problem with it ?
Long one at right edge of motherboard.I didn't understand. Which slot is it in the motherboard?
That motherboard has two slots. A GPU would typically go in the larger slot. The larger slot is a x16 slot. The smaller x1.I didn't understand. Which slot is it in the motherboard?
Yeah, but I'm confused about which generation it is. I used CPU-Z, and it says I have PCI Express 2.0 (5.0 GT/s). So, will the GT740 work with it? Because it's PCIe 3.0That motherboard has two slots. A GPU would typically go in the larger slot. The larger slot is a x16 slot. The smaller x1.
You will install the GT740 into the long slot.
Ignore the generation stuff. You have a motherboard that will work with a GT740. Generations don't really matter in this case. You have what you have. PCIe interfaces are designed to handle generation differences through compatibility standards.Yeah, but I'm confused about which generation it is. Got it but what about this "CPU-Z says it's PCI Express, and the GT740 supports PCIe 3.0. What is the difference? Isn't PCIe and PCI Express different?"Ignore the generation stuff. Thank you so much for clearing my doubts3.0 is a newer version of the standard. However, it is backward compatible with earlier versions (like used by your motherboard). When installed, your system will negotiate a common speed between the devices to ensure proper use.
PCI Express is PCIe.
My pleasure. Have fun.Thank you so much for clearing my doubts
Also, can you guide me how to fin which PCIe slot i have? except CPU-ZMy pleasure. Have fun.
I3-2100Well that depends on your parts and you have shifted from can it do 100 FPS on GTA to will it work on my system. Please list your system parts,
Always happy to help.😉
Quick answer most likely yes. But depends if this is on an old Dell motherboard.
Dell got weird back in the 1155 motherboard days. I remember though Dell used the GTX 750 ti alot in there pre builts back than.
Knowing parts would help.
EDIT: sorry I missed you listed your board already.
