The Zebronics website shows it can support upto 16 gb with only two slots https://zebronics.com/products/zeb-h55-socket-1156
Should I buy it I have never seen 16gigs working on h55 are they talking about expensive high density dimms or normal dimms?
I will be using a i7 870 + gtx 980 amp! with it.
Gave a quick look and H55 chipset alone doesn't limit the RAM amount, instead MoBo makers limit it, within reason.
Looked at several MoBos and those H55 chipset MoBos with 2x RAM slots, have max 8GB RAM capacity (e.g 2x 4GB DIMMs). But H55 chipset MoBos with 4x RAM slots, do support up to 16GB of RAM.
So, it is possible that this obscure Zebronics MoBo supports 16GB in 2 slots.
