Can a Intel i3 be good for gaming

I was wondering if I could use an Intel i3 for gaming? I would be playing games like dayz standalone.

The i3 4130 is a pretty decent budget chip as long as you pair it with a decent GPU.

It's good enough. If you can save up and get an I5 you would be better off. It's a stronger CPU and if you got an unlocked version you can overclock it.
