Question My PC detects my new ASUS 3060 GPU as a Radeon RX 5500 XT

I had recently purchased a new in-box ASUS 3060 GPU, but whenever I attempt to install NVIDIA graphics drivers to my PC, it says it cannot detect any NVIDIA hardware on it, even though I had just replaced my 1660 Ti with a 3060 last night. Instead, my PC detects my GPU as a Radeon RX 5500 XT, baffling me to no end.

Previous GPU: MSI VENTUS XS OC GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6 GB)
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: Corsair CX550M W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX

Use imgur.com and post pictures of the Asus card. Googleing an Asus 3060 and Asus 5500 xt they look almost the same.

I bought it second-hand from a seller I trust, and from communicating with him, it seems he was none the wiser when he got it. He allowed me to keep it, but he has already given a refund for it. I guess I'm still using my 1660 Ti for now.
