When I am gaming my cpu temperature is going over 60 degrees which i'm not happy with. I have put a fresh batch of thermal paste on the cpu. My video card temperature is staying between 30 to 50 degrees while gaming. I have already cleaned out the machine. Are there any options to help keep the CPU temperature down?

I have 4 x 120 fans in the front, 3 x 120 fans on the top, and a 140 fan in the back.

Are you sure you’re reading those right? 30 on a GPU while gaming does not sound right

@LordVile is correct. A GPU that cool is hardly being used.

I think we may be dealing with some cooling misconceptions as @MEMOFLEX started addressing.

You will never cool devices to less than room temperature while in use. You cool devices with the ambient air where those devices are located. Without some sort of active cooling (think refrigeration) you can't drop below the air temp of your environment.

When power is being applied to your components, they will generate heat. More fans just move that warmer air, they don't actually cool the air.

So, back to the OP. It would appear that your GPU is being underutilized. I would expect it to run much warmer under a heavy load. As stated earlier, your CPU temps seem rather good.

i don't like these temperatures
Counselling then, maybe?

With that motherboard and its emphasis on thermal performance, liquid cooling and five other case fans, clearly you're placing a lot of emphasis on running as cool as possible if you're not overclocking. Which is fine as a hobby, it's like wanting a PC that is as quiet as possible, but you have to accept that there are limitations: getting something passively from 80°C to 65°C is basically a lot easier than getting something from 65°C to 50°C. Saying that that CPU temperature is too high for gaming is a little like building a quiet PC, pressing your ear up against the case and complaining that you can still hear the fans.

30-50°C from a 4080 Super on a 4K monitor, is it fair to say that you turn your graphics down to reduce your thermals? Or you're just running old games?

Well if you use your cpu 99,9999% of the power it uses is converted to heat so it’s bound to heat up at least a little (and 60c IS just a little) because the heat has to be dissipated from a relatively small surface.

You might get a bigger cooler (I hardly think you need more airflow in your case) to dissipate heat faster and keep your cpu cooler but really, why bother? Because you don’t “like” the temperature? It’s not doing anything bad to your cpu so what’s not to like?

You could try underclocking your cpu or setting lower power limits: less power used is less heat generated is a cooler cpu but it seems really pointless from where I’m sitting unless your room heats up unbearably because of your pc or something.
