hello

As the title says i need to know whether a MBD-X8STi-B lga 1366 motherboard can support a standard size 16x gpu

thank you

I'm not really sure what your problem is. Could you please upload a picture of the problem?

Will do now!!

If you haven't bought the mobo yet, don't buy it. Read further down in the post.

That is indeed interesting. I forgot about that edge piece. You could cut that off, but I do NOT recommend doing so.

I was thinking of that but wasn't to sure!! or some sort of pcie riser of some sort!!

You could get a PCIe extender.

Ah ok i changed my mined anyway but thank you

Whether solution with PCIe extender went fine? Does it match for this motherboard? And is it safe, same fast? Is there anything important to know about these extenders? I thinking about this mb as cheapest for LGA1366 too.

I do not recommend this mobo. Try to increase your budget. Using PCIe extenders is hard because the mobo is not helping hold up the graphics card.

Actually, whether a holding up of GPU is the only reason to watch out for this mobo?
I know that it's OEM and it can't overclock.
Is there more useful things to know about it?
I request for answer. Thanks

I would need to see a link that has it's specs, but it's not the best quality motherboard. I have never heard of that brand either.

I think I saw more these brand mobos for servers.
Here's a link to specs:

But I decided to leave this idea with 1366, because my OCed HD 7850 can handle enough my current LGA with my new possible acquisition - Xenon E5450 - My GPU will not use E5620 for 1366 on this card. 775 will be cheaper solution. But in future, 1366 is very attractive option...

It's boasting Xeon CPU's so I would venture to say it is mainly a server mobo.
