Hello,
Im planning to buy new pc with MSI H110 VH PLUS, Intel core i5 6600, GEIL Forza PC19200 8 GB,Zotac GTX 1050 Ti. My friend said that i should change the motherboard to H270 or B150. He said that the H110 can bottleneck the CPU. Is it true? Or my friend is just joking around?

Hi,

your's is a balanced enough system and the mobo wont bottleneck the cpu because it can't. Motherboards are bridges between you components and CPU bottleneck would appear in cases where another component - usually the gpu has to wait while cpu is still computing data.

In your case, the GPU is a powerful one and since this can't be an sli setup, you don't have to worry about the gpu overpowering the cpu (with a 6 series cpu I think it is unlikely even in a 2 way sli/crossfire setup)

Your CPU and GPU have a direct bus between them and it wont get saturated. You are okay.

Only reason that you may want to look at upgrading your mobo would be if you wanted to go for sli/crossfire set ups.
