My games most likely started stuttering after I overclocked and I have replaced my GPU and RAM so far and I really think my motherboard is the problem because it doesn't have a heatsink.
Also my games sometimes stop the stutter.
I've had stuttering issues in the past but the motherboard wasn't the problem. Also, depending on your CPU, heat may or may not be an issue at play, but I personally don't think so. Those voltage regulator modules (VRM) can get pretty hot but it's most likely within spec, as in, they were designed to survive that kind of heat. I assume you're talking about a heatsink on the VRM because it's standard to put a heatsink on the northbridge chip. If you really think it's heat, then get a fan and point it at...
