My games most likely started stuttering after I overclocked and I have replaced my GPU and RAM so far and I really think my motherboard is the problem because it doesn't have a heatsink.

Also my games sometimes stop the stutter.

I've had stuttering issues in the past but the motherboard wasn't the problem. Also, depending on your CPU, heat may or may not be an issue at play, but I personally don't think so. Those voltage regulator modules (VRM) can get pretty hot but it's most likely within spec, as in, they were designed to survive that kind of heat. I assume you're talking about a heatsink on the VRM because it's standard to put a heatsink on the northbridge chip. If you really think it's heat, then get a fan and point it at...

I assume you're talking about a heatsink on the VRM because it's standard to put a heatsink on the northbridge chip. If you really think it's heat, then get a fan and point it at your motherboard with the case open, and also turn on the air conditioning, as an experiment. I don't think that's going to help actually, it's just an idea based on your suspicion that something might be up with the mobo. You can conduct the experiment and rule out thermal problems with your motherboard if the stuttering doesn't go away.

For starters, you might want to play around with the BIOS settings a bit, and I'd recommend just going to defaults, with everything set on auto or disabled if you don't need it. If going back to defaults doesn't get rid of the stutter, then post your setup so people can get a better idea of what you're dealing with.
