Can a psu go bad from mining?

Hi, ive found a somewhat cheap psu listed as working perfectly but used in a mining rig for a year and It got me thinking if mining harms the psu, If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated for a detailed responce on what could happen to the psu :D

Its a EVGA supernova G3 1000w and the other specs were not specified, i can message the seller and ask.
But i wanna know how the parts in a psu can fail
 
Because the capacitors into it, has a rating temperature and how many hours they can do at that rated temperature, they do not last forever, the higher temps than rated the faster they are reaching the end of life, basicly if capacitor is tending to go bad, the higher the ripple you have at the output and that if varies too much than 5% of 12V for example (11.4min-12.6Vmax) and if it does come over or under, you experience unstable system.
