Question Can Amd radeon vega 3 run 165hz

Hello, my laptop have integrated CPU with GPU and i want to test 165hz monitor. Will it run 165hz on hdmi? All i know that its hdmi 2.x. Its cheap 300$ lenovo laptop but i dont know model and i cant check it right now.

Definitely not, most likely capped at 60hz

If it's a 1080p monitor you might be lucky and get maybe 120hz max, but I don't think so.

You can take a picture of a label or something below the laptop, it should say the model to be sure

HDMI 2.x will support 165hz no problem. HDMI 2.0 supports 165hz up to 1440p resolution. The Vega 3 however almost certainly won't output 165fps to fill the refresh rate. So as long as you only care that the monitor is capable of 165hz refresh rate then you're good to go.
