So i've been looking at HP Elitedesk G3 sff's and i was wondering if i can use its psu without upgrading with an rtx a2000 6gb.
The pc will be mainly idling because it's going to be also a homeserver so that's why im choosing the rtx a2000 and the hp elitedesk g3.

Why does the home server need a significant GPU?

A GT1030 would be adequate as a display output if that is all that is needed. Intel HD should be good enough for most things as well.

70W GPU isn't crazy, you may want confirm the slot on that motherboard offers 75W, not all of them do.

I forgot to type it,i also plan on playing casually some games.

It should as it does not use and external PCI-e connectors to power the card.

Depending on how much room you have there are a few RTX 3050 cards that are low profile and are a lot cheaper then the A2000
