Is that psu on the tier 1 or 2 category?? Then no it is not a good psu.

You have to understand that the PSU is the heart of your system and gaming puts the system under a heavy load. If the PSU can not output 5v (meaning it drops to 4.5 or spikes to 5.5) then this can make your system perform poorly or even shut down. Thus a tier 1 or 2 PSU is necessary for demanding systems.
Low tier 4 and 5 PSUs take the problem to a whole different level since first of all thier wattage numbers are completely bogus and literally nothing more then the ink printed on the sticker; but more importantly they not only skimped on components to make it provide stable power but also skimped on designing it to protect your parts. I cant seam to buy it any were here is my recommendation by the looks of it its a poor quality old outdated unit so has done well
PSU Tier list tier 1-2 are good for gaming

I would recommend an EVGA SuperNova Gold G2 / GS / GQ, Platinum P2 / PS, or Titanium T2 or a Seasonic M12-II Evo or S12-II

GOOD PSU EVGA is a B2, G2, P2, GS, PS, or T2. Avoid the EVGA B1 and G1 series

how about cooler master G or GX series ?? some of my friends are using it with a strix rx 480. They didn't find any issues yet.

Thu when it dies from normal use it will fry other components in your system as well; there has even been a good number of cases where these junk power supplies start sparking and cause house fires.

The power supply is the most under-vauled part in the PC. By saving $30 going cheap on the power supply usually costs you significantly more in unstable conditions and fried components.

Whit out a doubt a cheap power will, and can cause cause you all manner of problems.

Simply avoid paying a very cheap price for a power supply that quotes it has a high wattage output.
There is a list on toms forums that have about 40 or more power supply`s that are good quality and have been checked for reliability and stability all rated on a tier system.

When it come to power supply`s you simply learn that buying a cheap one just to save money is the wrong thing to always do.

Though it may be painful to have to spend or part with up to £100 or even more in some situations.
It does in the long run pay dividends to do the job right.

Though very little people think or consider how important it is to buy a decent well branded power supply and skimp on the price of it. not considering it to be important it is. the whole of your system depends on it, and cannot be stressed enough how much it does matter.

So always without question opt when buying one, for a well known and trusted brand, that may cost you up to £100 or close to the price depending on how much wattage your system needs to be able to run stable.
