Hi everyone. I'm having problems with my GPU. It keeps overheating, and shutting down when it gets to around 70C. I've researched about it and people with the same gpu as me gets far hotter before shutting down. I'm not sure why, but i think it's because of bad airflow
Here's a drawing i did in paint about how many fans and space there's in my PC.

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/2474/dJW5xQ.png

Copy and pase it.

Here's my specs

RX 5700 XT

16 GB ram 3200 mhz

R5 3600

Amd Wraith CPU Cooler

Corsair VS650

Asus Tuf B450-Plus Gaming

3 Fans that came with the case

1 TB hard drive

512 gb m.2 ssd

The case is FSP Fortron CST311

If anybody knows a solution please reply to this thread.

Edit: Forgot to say the GPU almost have no space only like 4 cm

70C isnt a severe throttling temp for a PU or CPU that Ive seen.
I cant find much info on that case that isnt in Russian I believe it is.
Doesnt look to have much airflow opening from the from of case from the limited pics I can find though.

Probably not the GPU causing this.

What's your CPU temperature at idle and load?

That VS650 Power Supply could be the issue. It's an old low quality Corsair model.
Hey it's like like 45 when idling i can check the temp when i play rust later today,

Okay so i'm playing 7 days to die on medium settings and i'm getting like 70c temps.

Actually i think you're right about the PSU, because none of my hardware overheats probably gonna email the people i bought the pc from. It's been like that since i got my pc, but i think it's gonna be fine because i got 3 year guarantee, but can you explain to me why it doesn't happend when i play games that don't use that much power.

Agree with @Nemesia (above) and...
Even PC case looks nice, it has very poor airflow (there's none actually). And combined with stock CPU cooler, I'm not really surprised you have temperature problems.
Hi i don't have a stock cpu cooler i got the AMD wraith, and it doesn't seem like temps problem dpn't really know what it is. Maybe a bad PSU.

Did anything change in the PC recently? Is the GPU new? The PSU is suspect but it's not a definite.

When you say 'shutting down', is the whole PC rebooting or are you crashing to desktop (CTD)?
No changes at all. When it shuts down it's freezing, and then the sound there was before it restarted keept going really fast, and then not even a couple secs later it restarts

Yes, let it go for ~30 mins and see what your temp gets up to. This is a quick test to verify basic stability. If you did the blended test it will test the CPU and, to a lesser extent, the RAM.
Next load up Unigine Valley demo and just let it run (it loops automatically) to test your GPU. Watch it (~15 mins) to see if you get any visual artifacts or if it crashes.

PSU is definitely suspect.
Try to run Prime95, blended stress test, AVX off, for 15-30 and see what happens. This stress test will take the GPU out of the equation.
Used it for like 10 minutes and in said in the results folder it said

Don't know if it's a bad thing or not.
You need to let it go for at least 30 mins. With Blended test it will run several different tests. Some push the CPU more while others push both the CPU and RAM.
Don't rush diagnostics. You need to put some time into figuring out where your problem is. Hopefully, you don't have a compound problem with multiple components.
