I'm planing to buy an ATI Sapphire 7750HD GPU. It says requirement is 450W. So I assume a 500 W PSU would suffice. Full details of my System.

PC:- Compaq Presario CQ3170IX.
MoBo :- MSI - 7525
Present PSU gives 180W output.

I wanted to ask that

1. What kind of connectors come with the PSU (specifically the Cooler Master Thunder 500W)?

2. Will it connect with my MoBo?

3. Will the PSU fit in the CPU cabinet?

4. Will the GPU fit in the slot given?

5. Will the remaining 50W be enough for the PC?

Additional Details
CPU :- Intel Core2Duo E7500@2.93 GHz
RAM is 4GB.
HDD is 1TB.

*****lots of others are saying 400W is enough. Also, will I get the best experience from the above setup just with addition of the GPU and PSU?

I currently have an ATI EAH5450 Silent.

Solution
Your present PSU might be fine for the 55W HD 7750. Can you read the nameplate on the PSU and tell us the rating of the +12V rail(s)?
Connectors are not an issue for the card, it takes none. The other connectors are all std.
If this is your PC: http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c01882848-26%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken
... any std ATX pSU will fit.
As long as you have a PCIe X16 slot (you do), it will fit the card.
The CM Thunder 500W (while not the best) will work.
