so i built my system with
ASRock 970M Pro3 mobo,
AMD Fx9370 Octa-Core CPU @ 4.28 GHz,
16GB RAM,
& NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 ti,
running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

That being said, everything has been fine, up until recently i started having problems with my system randomly going into hibernation & not waking up. So i turned off all sleep and hibernation settings, and now im left with my system just shutting off suddenly. no BSOD or anything like that, & the event viewer only says "unexpected shutdown". But this happens everytime i try to run windows normally, Only in safe mode is it stable. can anyone please drop a hint, id very much appreciate it. thanks..

Solution
PSU make and model?
CPU cooler?

These old FX9xxx CPUs draw a lot of power and put off a lot of heat. You could have temp throttling related shutdowns or even power throttling issues, especially with a 970m board that should never be used with such a CPU.

Sometimes a PSU failing can cause unexpected restarts too.
