Can anyone recommend the just cause series?

Just cause 3 seems like it will be a good game from what I have seen.

Seems kind of like it would be close to a GTA, and I have been playing GTA for years and loved them.

I love flying planes, driving cars and things like that. I will probably rig my Racing wheel and control stick to work with it if I purchase it.

I have never played a Just Cause game and I don't know if it would be worth spending the $53 (w/ the steam sale) for a game I may not like.

Can anyone recommend them? What is the gameplay like? Concept and goal of the game?

Just Cause 3 is overall a really fun game, if you like GTA you would love Just Cause 3. The visuals will be really nice, and the gameplay is from trailers, very explosive. Concept and goal of the game is to have fun, alike most games on the market.
If you do purchase, hope you have fun

Like you said, it's like grand theft auto in certain ways. You have a scorpion wire you can shoot out quiet far and grapple onto things. Things like passing by cars, airplanes, ect.

If you ask me it's a better game than GTA. Much more creative and they don't have to resort to constant smut to get their artistic vision across.
