Question Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Hello,

I recently completed building a new PC and have been experiencing BSODs. I would be able to start the system and start doing things, and then the system would crash. I have tried reinstalling windows, running memory tests (both windows and memtest86), running image tests and repairs, checking drivers, etc. Things were pointing towards RAM, but after troubleshooting, it seems to pass all tests. The crashes were not all the same but they now seem to all be memory management crashes, although each one has been a slightly different kind of mem management crash. A common theme I noticed in different solutions was the motherboard, so I replaced the motherboard. I was unable to regularly produce the crash, until I found a suggestion to run Driver Verifier. This would produce a crash before I was able to log in to windows, although they continued to be memory management crashes that did not include a (xxxxx.sys) indicator.

I have included the Windows dump and system information at the link below. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

What are specs of the PC? I don't have a program to convert rar files.

I will ask someone to convert dumps into a format I can read but if BSOD survive reinstalls its likely to be hardware to blame.

Did you clean install windows after replacing motherboard?

odd seeing prime95 crash (it was victim, not cause)
try running the bootable version and see if you get any further

if you were getting memory management errors before replacing MB, its unlikely to be it now.

Yes, the above specs are correct, with the following info:

-The GPU is MSI Ventus 3x Plus RTX 3080 10gb LHR
-Storage is Samsung 980 pro 1TB
-Corsair RMx (2021) Series 850gold

Yes the Prime95 crash was weird, but i was doing it just to see if I could get the crash to happen, as I was not getting it regularly. I had run Prime 95 just fine the night before. The driver verifier seems to be the best crash causer now though. On the advice of someone else, I ran the Windows Mem Diagnostic in extended mode, and it was stuck at 21% for a number of hours, so I replaced the RAM today. Windows booted fine, so I am currently running the test again to see if these sticks pass. I am hoping that the new RAM passes and that solves the problem, but I will update once this test is complete, or if it stalls out at 21% again. What are the chances of the new RAM failing? Should my next step be to update my BIOS?

I did not clean install Windows when I replaced the hard ware. Would you suggest I do that? I did run some scans that did not return any issues with the image.

what was old motherboard? same model or a different one? If its same, you could probably get away without a clean install.

Have you crashed since swapping ram? I would play a waiting game to see if the new ram was all you needed.

It looks like the original RAM was at fault. I have not had any crashes since switching and everything seems to be running smoothly. I appreciate both of y'all taking a look at my post!

so it passed memtest and was still at fault. Its rare but i seen it before, ram passes tests and still replacing it fixes problem.
