Hello people. My laptop has windows 10 and an old ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 GPU (aka display adapter in device manager). I've been getting the video_TDR_failure (atikmpag.sys) error code and some forums online suggested that I should uninstall the display adapter in safe mode, boot into normal mode and freshly install new drivers. Can anything go wrong if I do this?

Also, my GPU is no longer supported for windows 10, so I have to use legacy drivers http:// according to this guidehttp://. If I am correct, if I uninstall the the GPU from safe mode, normal mode should boot with Microsoft basic display adapter (it's just a guess). Can I still install the legacy drivers using the methods mentioned in the guide above?
