Question Can backlight bleed appear/increase over time if none is evident when monitor is brand new ?

I had an Asus VG249Q, it had so much backlight bleed, I refunded it.
When I set up there was only bleed in 1 spot, but it started increasing and there we go I had BLB in 3 places.

The question is, if I buy another monitor and there isn't any BLB on it at all, could it appear later on (and increase) or will it remain free of BLB for 2-3 years?

Depends on the monitor brand and model.
AOC models I've tried either had power problems or bleeding within 6 - 12 months.
The Phillip 32" HDR monitors I have now started bleeding the first within 5 months, the second at 11 momths. The two I have now that were supplied as warranty replacements haven't had any bleeding for nearly 18 months.

Thanks!
