[SOLVED] Can bad RAM stop further POST beeps?

TL;DR When I turn on my PC with just CPU and a CPU fan, nothing else attached, it beeps for RAM error. When I put potentially broken RAM stick it doesn't beep for monitor or keyboard, even though it should. And, obviously, it doesn't boot, no screen signal no BIOS. Is it possible or am I going crazy?

Hello,
I have 2x2gb and 2x4gb sticks of DDR3 RAM
My MB has been acting funky, since first RAM slot had stopped working - any stick put there would be deemed "unusable" by windows (12 ram 10 usable, or 12 ram 8 usable depending on what stick I put there).
Recently this MB had died completely: no POST no display, so I had bought a new one.

My 'new' (used actually) MSI 970 gaming MB after a few tries had worked with 2x2gb sticks, I've run MemTest86 and the sticks passed.
Putting any single 4gb sticks prevents it for booting, so I deemed them fried by last MB.

Today my PC had BSODed (can I use it as a verb?) on me and I have no signal on my monitor.

BSOD happened after I tried to enable MSI fast boot option that suspends MB Logo screen. So I am a bit scared I somehow corrupted BIOS.

So my questions are:
  1. Can bad motherboard fry RAM so it will pass MemTest86 but stop working completely in a few days?
  2. Can bad RAM stop further beep codes from happening, because I did get "no PCIE monitor" beeps before.
  3. Is it possible that MB settings got funked up and it doesn't accept RAM due to its timing mis matched or XMP profile mixing up or anything, that would keep my PC from booting even after CMOS reset.
  4. Will CMOS reset uncorrupt BIOS and if not, how do I make sure BIOS is fine.

Thanks for reading, looking forward to your answers!

Solution
1. i would say chances are that the RAM being the issue not the MOBO.
2.YES
3/4 : CMOS reset doesn't reinstall the ROM BIOS, just resets to default settings, could potentially fix things.

Thanks for the answer! I've ordered new RAM, hopefully it will fix all the issues. So I guess I have an extra working motherboard lying around...
