Ok ... so i got baited or i think i am...
Motherboard: H110H4-CM2
memory(RAM): 1x8 DDR3L + 1x8 gb DDR3 that i bought from my friend ... so that should be 2x8=16gb.
Soo i bought DDR3 1x8GB ram from my friend but when i try to put it in pc and go in "This PC" and then properties, it says that i only have 8 GB but when i go to CPU-Z it says that i have 16 GB.
I had DDR3L on pc whole time but his is DDR3
I searched a lot on internet and it said that they can work together...
Please help !!!

since you are mobo expert can you help me with my bios .... when ever i boot my pc it goes to loading windows , it doesnt show what key is for bios ...
i tried pressing del,ins,f1,f2,f10 and 12 but it didnt open bios

On a motherboard that lets you adjust voltages and memory settings, perhaps.

Basic choices are to pump excess voltage through the DDR3L (1.35 volts) so that the regular DDR3 (1.5 - 1.65 volts) can run. Or slow down the DDR3 so that you can run it at a low voltage.

Chances of an overlap being achievable is pretty slim. DDR3L is usually decently fast since it is newer (1600 or faster). DDR3 started out at 1066, then 1333 was fairly standard. Late in the lifecycle DDR3 1600 was quite common.

If you are lucky you might get it all to run at 1333 at 1.35 volts, but if you have 1333Mhz DDR3, then probably not.

Not that familiar with Medion boards. Does it say who makes the BIOS when it boots? They often have standard key presses.

I don't see ESC in your list, that is another possibility. You can also often hit the Pause/Break button to stop the BIOS screen, the key to press may be displayed somewhere.

Ok.. i feel kinda stupid right now... but it was actually DEL key to open BIOS but i wasn't clicking it on time...
On my ram it says that my ram is "PC3L" that means that is DDR3L, right?
But should i bump up the DDRL3 to 1.50v or should i lower DDR3 to 1.35v ? they are both 1600mhz

I am not PC master .. just regular guy with higher knowledge than average so i dont really know what is "msconfig boot options"

Because it is very likely that the DDR3 won't be able to run at 1600Mhz at 1.35 volts. It was designed for 1.5 volts.

We know the 1600Mhz DDR3L is capable, but it can easily be run slower.

I suspect there is enough voltage for the system to detect the memory, but it may not want to run.

Why? I'm saying that I had both DDR3 and DDR3L work together.

Please read responses...

Sorry. now I get it, you wrote it like you are having issue.
