Hello,
I am looking to build a budget pc, and have my eyes on the Intel Xeon L5520 because it only costs $7 per cpu. It seems to have a good benchmark score(dual l5520 can score 7000 in passmark), but I want to know if it can run GTA 5. Also, does anyone know a good GPU to use with the l5520 that will not cause bottlenecking?
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

The single thread passmark is the thing to look at. The L5520 has a single thread score of 1036. An i5-6500 (non K) has a single thread score of 1948. An i3-6100 has a score of 2103. Having a lot of slow threads is not going to make you a happy gamer.

Dual socket motherboards require Windows PRO or above and a power supply with dual ATX12V ports.

Old, slow, Xeons don't make good gaming computers.

It will run the game, but not very well. You will need to tone-down the CPU-centric tasks of the game to get to run fluently. I cannot recommend purchasing such an old chip for a relatively new game.

If you are looking build budget, it would in this case be better to build with an AMD Athlon. An Athlon X4 880K will be around the same price point and will offer better performance. It's also much newer.

Would a X4 750K be good? I'm not pushing for the best settings and probably will only pair it with a gtx 670 or equivalent.
