Can EVGA Hardon Air power GTX 780?

Hello Everyone,
Wanting to build a small form factor gaming pc using a gtx 780 and the EVGA Hardon Air case looks perfect! See Below,

The case includes a 500w gold psu unit. So my question, would that be sufficient to run a GTX 780?

The psu can't handle the gtx 780 because it only has the 40A on +12V Rail, and gtx780 requires 42A on +12V.

I know this is old, so I'm sorry for bringing it up, but it comes up on Google and the answer provided is blatantly false.

Yes, 480 W of power on the 12V rail is MORE than enough for the TITAN, the 780, or the 780 TI at stock speeds.
