Hi I have a problem. I have DDR4 2400mhz cl17 ram in my laptop and I bought ddr4 2133MHZ cl15 to my laptop. After few days I have random freezes, and my laptop start to glitch and give "sound" (glitched sound from screen or something). Can it be caused by conflicting ram? I checked it with memtest and I got zero problems, that is why it is strange for me.

what is your motherboard btw?

the memtest does not take everything from the motherboards "point of view" into account so basically it just says your RAM is working fine. there could be a possibility that the one of the RAMs (most likely the newer one) isnt compatible to your board or one of this gettin faulty. you might need a 1game/day test with 1 stick at a time. to see if the freezes are there. 2 different types of RAM will still work but just downclocks to the slowest one which is your new 2133Mhz

It is laptop, that is why I cannot downclocks anything. Problem is that freezes are totally random times. It can be all ok for 3 days, and day later I can have 4 freezes in 1 hour. I have Clevo laptop.

Yes, but I unplugged the newer ram stick, so there is only the older one. DRAM Frequency is about ~1200MHz, FSB: DRAM is 1:18, Latency is 17 clocks, 17, 17, 39, Row refresh is 420 clocks, Command Rate is 2T.

If it is importand I had changed them in slots (so the newer one was in first slot) and it was something like 1066 and 15 clocks, but problem still had occured

Motherboard name is N85_N87HJHJ1HK1
