[SOLVED] Can human nails damage motherboards ?

If I scratched a motherboard with my nails, would it leave any mark and cause any damage ?

Did you do this and you're worried, or are you curious if you could scratch a mobo?

It's very unlikely that you'd cause damage to a mobo by accidentally scratching it with your fingernail.

The most probable damage by a fingernail could be if you caught one of the many tiny IC chips with your fingernail and somehow broke it off. Even then, not likely.

Computer boards are actually pretty durable.

You might damage a processor if you mishandle it with nails but damaging a motherboard takes a bit more strength . But who knows what happens on a bad day. But you don't need to worry about damaging the mobo with your nails.
