can i add 4gb hyperX ram with 8gb corsair ram?

Can i add an aditional corsair 8gb ddr4 2400mhz ram?will there be any problems?????

Mixing ram sticks not from kit is always risk. They may simply decide they will not work together. The more differences between sticks, the bigger chance this can happen. In your case, you trying to mix sticks from different manufacturers, and more importantly, different CL. That does not mean they will definitely not work together, but the chance of failure is notable.

It could work but may not. I'd say just wait and save for another stick that matches the other 8GB stick

Usually, it either works from start, or does not work at all. But of course, there's always small chance that problems will appear later.

Can't say for sure. It might not run dual channel (or at all). But I'd seriously recommend just waiting and getting a matching 8GB stick. Not sure why this config is your only option

becouse i have recently bought a pc . and i only have 4gb of ram.. i got this ram for very cheap ..but i will still take your advise ...
