Question Can I add different RAM and make it work?

I definetly do not need this ram but I am looking to get this 16GB (8x2) ram that has RGB. I have this ram already. Can I mix the 2?

You can if you wish, but no one can give you a concrete answer as whether the 2 kits will get along without issues.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

No memory manufacture would guarantee that kind of combination to be compatible together.

You can mix any combinations you want and do your own compatibility testing with no guarantees.

What is guaranteed is memory in the form sold.

Even using the same make model RAM but not bought as a matched kit has some risk of issues.
