I have some extra xiaomi yeelight led strips so I'm thinking can I add them to my PC case. case is old cooler master elite 430 black. I don't mind cutting or soldering . PSU is 450 watts 80+ bronze
You'll have to make them compatible unless they come with a molex or SATA power connector already. A link might help. There is a standardized RGB header but you'll need to wire the connector that fits that header to match the strips you have. Or, more simply, get another controller from yeelight.
You'll have to google to see if the strips can be controlled by a header in your system. Otherwise you'll need another controller from Yeelight.
The power draw from LED's is typically low enough that you shouldn't have a problem with their power draw. You could measure this, if you are comfortable soldering I'm sure you are comfortable with wiring an ammeter into the circuit to measure the current draw.
