Can I change the GTX 970 bios?

Hello, I have a nvidia GTX970 with this bios version:

I see the bios date is 2014, and the bios version is 84.04.36.00.5D. Can I update the bios for improve my GTX 970.

looks like one of them things you had to do some homework on before you buy a card ?? matter of fact with anything you do today - like how now intel removed xeon support from skylake 100 series boards that use to be supported with all board before .

you see a lot of thing like this now when things use to work before it now don't or with this part its no longer supported but if you got this part it is but then what the other does support this one now don't...
I have an i7 4790k, I see the benckmark and chek the amd 290 is better tan gtx 980 for render. But atm I cant change my 970, and I dont have a lot of money for the professional graphics card, I want the card for gaming and render.

may ask around your buddies or who ever you talk to and hint around your looking for a AMD card they don't use and pick it up used on the cheap ? [maybe e-bay]
