Can i clean cpu with 99.9% isopropyl?

Last week i ordered 250ml bottle of lab grade 99.9% isopropyl for cleaning cpu and gpu thermal paste.it wont etch my cpu top? also should i use gloves? i know that most of people use 70% isopropyl to clean cpu, but can i clean it with 99.9% because one of my friends girlfriend said that its that strong and is etching hands, so im started to worrying about cpu top part, i always used only perfume to clean cpu, i have surgical spirit but i read that its not suitable for cleaning cpu's because it has 2.5% castor oil in it.

The above is true the reason you see 70 percent used so much is because its cheap and readily available to most everyone.

but, they can order 99.9% isopropyl from ebay like i ordered and it should arrive next week 250ml bottle they had even 1l bottles and ships worldwide, and why cpu must be in socket? why can't clean outside socket then put it back in to the socket?

Conclusion: It doens't matter if you use 99.9% or 70% or anything in between, it will get the job done.
