Current specs:
AMD A4-5300 3.40GHz DUAL CORE (Socket FM2) APU
ATI Radeon HD 7480

MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-F2A68HM-DS2H

My questions are: should i buy a new processor?
is there a problem if i combine the amd a4 with the gtx 1060?

thanks for your help!

They are all independent of each other in that sense, you can mismatch whatever you want. Intel/Nvidia, AMD/Nvidia, Intel/AMD, AMD/AMD all will work together without issues. Just for reference, i am using an Intel CPU and AMD GPU together right now.
You can use the A4-5300 with it but i would strongly suggest an upgrade if you want to grab a GTX 1060. That CPU will hold it back in almost any modern game and just about any modern GPU for that matter. An i5 7xxx or R5 1400/1500 would be a good pairing with a GTX 1060 but they both need a new Motherboard and DDR4 RAM. If that is out of your budget I would look at perhaps an RX 470 4GB + CPU upgrade to Pentium G4560, B250 Motherboard and 8GB DDR4. That should come up to around the GTX 1060 6GB's price new so you get a stronger GPU along with CPU. Hope this helps :)

another question: Does the i5 7400 fit on these motherboards?
GIGABYTE GA-H81M-DS2 3.0 2xDDR3 PCI-E 2xUSB3 LPT Socket 1150
GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H-A 4xDDR3 PCI-E 2xUSB3 HDMI Socket 1150

No, you need a B250 or H270 Motherboard (Socket 1151). Z270 is also usable but not what you should be looking at on that CPU. Here is the cheapest Motherboard on PCPP with 4 RAM slots (what i would recommend for future upgrades). > https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qjs8TW/msi-b250m-pro-vdh-micro-atx-lga1151-motherboard-b250m-pro-vdh

No they are 2 different entities, the type of Video RAM the Graphics Card uses is irrelevant of the type of RAM the Motherboard accepts for the CPU. It'll be just fine. :)
