Hi! i need to know if i can use this motherboard GIGABYTE GA-F2A68HM-DS2H (max allocated ram size 2gb) i dont understand that part
processor: AMD A-Series A8 7650K Quad Core 3.8

My question is: Can i combine this with the gtx 1060 6gb without any problem?

Solution

The FX series are not compatible with your motherboard unfortunately. From all that I have seen, the RX 480 would be the better of the two. I wouldn't worry too much about investing in a gpu as regardless they will carry across to your next build. That cpu and motherboard should be fine if you're just playing at 1080p 60 fps. What is your current gpu or are you using the integrated graphics currently?

Thanks for your help!
What amd CPU would be good for this videocard?
and i dont understand this " Max Allocated RAM Size 2 GB " in the motherboard, isnt that a problem?

There is always a bottleneck in any given system solely due to some titles more cpu bound than gpu bound. A well optimized title will make good use of cpu and gpu. People are fast to believe that when your cpu is maxed out and gpu is not that "oh my cpu is bottlenecking me", this is not always the case as nearly all mmo's are like this purely because they are heavily cpu bound and poorly optimized. This is just one example, but if you take a moment to look at some benchmarks you will see that this particular cpu pairs fine with this gpu. Please refer to this sticky: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-3192807/ultimate-bottlenecking-guide.html for more information. Bottleneck is a term thrown around too often and almost always in the wrong context. OP you will be fine using that GPU in your system don't worry.

I'm using the integrated graphics ,
Is it true that if i buy the rx 480 the 2 gpus will work together?
and what do u think? should i wait for the 580 or just buy the 480? i heard that they are comming on april 18th

btw im going to upgrade my cpu

As far as I am aware the hybrid crossfire feature only works with Radeon R7 250 and Radeon R7 240 GPUs, I may be mistaken however. There is never really a reason to wait for a video card, not with how fast the industry moves, just buy for your needs now, future proofing is a myth. The RX 580 is supposed to release in two days I think? the 18th. The flip side of the coin however is that with release of 580, the 480 prices will drop.
