I have two LG monitors with 2560x1080 resolution though they have two different sizes.
If I connect either of them to the HDMI port of a GTX 1050 card, I can select 2560x1080 resolution on Windows 10.
However, if I connect either of them to the display port of the GTX 1050 card through a Display Port to HDMI adapter, the highest available resolution on Windows 10 is 1920 x 1080.
Can I conclude the Display Port to HDMI adapter limits the resolution, and I can find a better adapter to get 2048 x 1536 resolution so that I can use two monitors with 2048 x 1536 resolution at the same time?

wtf is 2048X1536? I can only find that on an ipad from 2011 and another rando lg phone

but to the question, that adapter should be the problem as dp can transfer more than 1080p.

Sorry for the typo. I meant 2560x1080. I cannot figure out where I copied that number. I will correct it.
Thank you for the confirmation. I will get another adapter. The challenge is how I can ensure it supports 2560x1080. The eBay vendor insists the current adapter supports higher than 1080 dp resolution.
