Can I connect Gigabyte 970A-UD3P with 4-pin atx?

I currently have a 500W PSU and I am wondering if I can connect that to my Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
motherboard. I am just clarifying here, to make sure. My build is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CrZJXL
I already have my GPU which is some epic variant of the 270X. I'm getting amazing overclocks while the temps stay at 28 degrees Celsius. I have overclocked it by about 30%. Thanks for your help guys!

Ok you are making this confusing (for me) I am asking a question and you are asking me to answer it myself. I'm guessing no, but I just want a flat out answer.

If it has an 8pin connector on the motherboard, then connect an 8pin power supply connector to it. Not 4 pin.
