Hello everyone I am just wondering first if this is even possible. First a while a go I put two 1 TB solid state drives in my macbook pro. I took out the dvd player and bought a caddy for one of the drives. One drive runs windows 8.1 and the other runs Yosemite. I noticed that there is enough space in between the original pocket where the drive is initially placed and the bottom plate to put the other drive on top of it (I put the caddied drive on top of the other drive and it fit). So finally I was wondering if there is a way to connect these two drives with a single cable? Two sata 3 receivers connected by one port. This way I could put my dvd player back in.

a rough illustration of what i am asking.

Thanks to anyone who responds.
