Can I connect Seagate FreePlay 1000GB (ST1000LM010) as an internal drive ?

Hi,
I've lost the adapter to this drive, so I cannot connect it via USB. I know adapters are easily available, but the thing is, I recently built myself a new PC and I was wondering if I could just connect it internally as I don't really need the portability.

I have removed the drive from the case, a pic of the drive's ports is here - http://imgur.com/WAHxV3f

it is a normal SATA drive so yes you could use it as a internal drive.

Hi there rohanag12,

I would agree with drtweak. Just grab a SATA and a power cable, attach it and see if it works.
Keep in mind that most probably the warranty of the drive was voided as you took it out of the enclosure.
Also, in case there is some data stored on it and you can't see it on your computer when attached internally, it may be a good idea to put it back in the enclosure, back up the data and reformat it(when attached internally).
