Hello i've ordered Arctic PWM 12 fan,and i got PWM 12 PST version instead, im wondering is it safe to cut off PST extension, and will the fan keep on working without soldiering and stuff(its gonna poke my eyes i know it this damn extension, and i cant hide it due to fact that fan connectors are on bottom of motherboard and not on side(its exhaust fan that goes on back)?

Guy in shop said to me that P12 PWM is not more produced and that PST version is still being produced, which i think is straight up seller bs but okay,i might be wrong tho...

Why do you need to cut it off? Just leave it.
It is meant for daisy-chaining another pwm fan to it, if motherboard lacks extra fan headers.

Well just for the looks,i got enough connectors but i got right now micro atx board, and kinda might get annoyed by saggy cables, will see how it looks, when my h5 flow arrives.I might be able to put it somehow behind the back of case, and connect it to pwm 12 pst also on bottom fan so i can daisy chain them all.Just was curious is it possible to do or not :)

This:

"kinda might get annoyed by saggy cables".

Ignore the saggy cables and hide them as best you can. Or keep them as neat as possible.

Sooner or later you will stop noticing.

And there is a good chance that that connector will be needed sometime....

Two considerations:

The Law of Unintended Consequences and "Never let form get in the way of function".

Seconding @SkyNetRising: Do not cut off the connector.
