Can i disable start panel and replace it by other program? somehow?

I realy don't like the windows start panel at all because i use HUD program and it conflicting with it (Overwolf exactly) and i don't like it looks and its very unconfortable for me to use. So i want to ask if its there some program that can replace it and let me customize it and just change it to HUD like style.

Start Menu 8. It will replace the Windows 8 start menu and bring back the classic one from previous Windows versions. Start Menu 8 also allows you to customize.
