I will try the first one right now. I know the other two won;t work unless i have a floppy drive which i don't and would prefer to use a usb stick if possible.

I held down f12 during post and also tried rapidly pressing f12 during post and neither worked either time.
I did install the utility software and it asked me to reboot. So I did. btw, the processor in the computer right now is my old one which is the amd anthlon 64 dual core 5000+.

Lol i just found the BIOS upgrade utility on my computer. I didn't see it with all the gazillion other programs i have installed anyways, I got my bios up to date thankyou for putting up with my dumbass lol. Verified up to date with Speccy. And I installed the latest audio drivers too. Thanks again.
